Brick Work

Giggling Girls

This body of work reflects the relationships between family and friends and the interaction therein. Each of these pieces are approx. 6-7ft high, carved from unfired brick which is then dismantled and fired to 1080 degrees, they are reassembled using traditional brick laying techniques.

This work was produced with a view to being sited in a public environment. They are welcoming and open group, willing us to walk through and be a part of them, enticing us to experience their presence.
